Our Bachelor programme is 5 years Full-time or 6 years part-time, offering a mixture of contact and online modules making it easy for you to fit around your personal and work life. The programme is a cooperation within Shulan college and Nanjing University of Chinse Medicine (NJUCM).

Accreditation and Validation
Our Bachelor degree programmes are approved by the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, and the educational systems are in line with regulations issued by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
Students that have completed the Bachelor teaching program and have passed all the assessments will obtain Medical Doctor Degree certificates, issued by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and organized by NJUCM.
The programme is also applying the accreditation of The Traditional Chinese Medicine Accreditation Board (TCMAB). Therefore, successful graduates of the course will be eligible for membership of ATCM. The development of the course reflects the TCMAB Accreditation Handbook.
The purpose of the Bachelor degree programme is to provide an opportunity for the oversee students to study the authentic Traditional Chinese Medicine with the experience TCM lecturers most of them hold TCM degrees from China.
The course is seeking the accreditation from Traditional Chinese Medicine Accreditation Board (TCMAB) and we very much believe it could be successful in the next 2-3 years and before the graduation of our first cohort. By then the successful graduates are eligible to join the Association of Traditional Chinses Medicine and Acupuncture (ATCM).
The programme consists two steps during the entire five years. The first three year will focus on Chinese acupuncture study and by then, the students can be awarded the Diploma of Chinses Acupuncture and could join the ATCM automatically as the Acupuncture and Tuina membership. If so you can start to practice acupuncture in the UK. The second step, last two years, will focus on Chinese herbal medicine study and China replacement practice. After the five years’ study, you can join the the ATCM automatically as the full membership. In addition, you will be awarded the Bachelor Degree certificates, issued by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and organized by NJUCM.
