Welcome to the PhD Degree Programme. Our PhD programme is a 3 years part-time course, offering a mixture of contact and online modules making it easy for you to fit around your personal and work life. The programme gives you access to the top lecturers and supervisors in the world, enabling you to develop your chosen speciality in the way that you want.

Accreditation and Validation

Our PhD degree programme is approved by the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, and the educational systems are in line with regulations issued by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

Students that complete the PhD Degree Program and pass the Thesis defence will obtain a PhD Degree Certificate, issued by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and organized by Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine.

Programme Purpose

The purpose of the PhD degree programme is to encourage a deep-rooted understanding of TCM that makes it second nature within the graduates’ personal and professional lives. The degree programme is intended to expand on the knowledge already gained by the Student, providing advanced skills in practical, theoretical, diagnostic and research methods.

The PhD Programme will further build the bridge between theoretical and clinical practice.
